The Forty Hour Principal 

For those of you who like structure and order, we have assembled the chapters into sections that group similar ideas together. For example, the chapters about finding clarity as a principal, are grouped under the heading “Clarity Helps”. You can stay ‘on theme’ by reading them as a group.

For those who prefer an adventure, just dive in. Each short chapter is written to stand on its own. Some simply explore one idea, others are a little more complex. Plenty will cross-over (at least that’s our intention) and individually or together, they will challenge you as a school leader.
